Autograph drafts by various authors of essays, short stories, etc., printed in two editions (1836 and 1838) of Friendly Contributions, edited by Lady Mary Fox (see her letters in Add. MS. 51966, ff. 166-169b). Lady Callcott apparently assisted in the editing of the 1836 edition (see her annotations at ff. 1-26 passim, and her letters in Add. MS. 51963, ff. 79-82, which include as an enclosure, ff. 89-90b, a contribution from Mary Russell Mitford on the death of Dr. R. Valpy, printed on pp. 271-275). Viz:- (1) 'My father's Old Friend', by the Hon. Mrs. Helen Selina Blackwood afterwards (1839) Baroness Dufferin and (1862) Countess Gifford. With a note (f. 12b) in the hand of her sister, the Hon.
