Includes correspondence discussing poets who might be invited to participate, and confirming those who have accepted, correspondence relating to recording and filming the festival, and payment of fees. Also contains correspondence with the Greater London Council and the American Embassy regarding grants towards the cost of the festival, and correspondence with the Royal Festival Hall, whose Queen Elizabeth Hall was the venue for the festival. Includes a paper on the festival, with comments on plans for Poetry International 1971 and 1972.
