Collection of prayers, entitled 'Clipeus spiritualis' (f. 86r); preceded by a dedication to Sigismund I, rubric: 'Serenissimo domino Sigismundo primo regi Polonie', incipit: 'Qui hunc libellum tibi miserim' (ff. 86v-89v), a title page (f. 90v) and a display script (ff. 91r-91v). The same compilation was also included in the Prayerbook of Krzysztof Szydłowiecki of 1527 (divided between Milan, Archivio Storico Civico, Cod. n. 459 and Milan, Biblioteca Ambrosiana, Cod. n. 460), and, in a Polish translation, in the Prayerbook of Wojciech Gasztołd (Vaitiekus Goštautas), chancellor of Lithuania of 1528 (Munich, Universitätsbibliothek MS 3663), both produced in Samostrzelnik's workshop.

Full and partial borders with candelabra ornaments, putti, heraldic and figural decoration (ff. 92r, 94r, 105, 112v, 166r, 167r, 168r, 168v, 170v, 179v, 182r, 184r, 185v, 186v, 187v, 188v, 190v, 191v, 194v, 197r). Large initials in gold on coloured grounds decorated with candelabra ornaments, at the beginning of major divisions and prayers. Small initials and line-fillers in gold on coloured grounds. Text blocks framed with gold cordelières.
