Drama in three acts. Licence sent in August 1867 (the exact date is not noted either on the script or in the LCO Day Book - Add MS 53704) for performance at the Haymarket.. Printed (n.d.) with manuscript amendments on the final page. Nicoll lists the play with the title 'A wife well won, or, My Grandfather's legacy'. Nicoll also notes the play as being performed at the Strand on 6 November 1868 with the title 'The widow hunt'.
