Drama in three acts. Licence sent 25 September 1868 for performance at Drury Lane. An adaptation of Walter Scott's The Fortunes of Nigel, by the Scottish journalist and dramatist Andrew Halliday (1830-1877). Although Halliday's name does not appear on this LCP playscript, he is credited in press reviews, playbills, and the theatre programme.
