- Autograph and typescript letters to Ray Mills from friends and acquaintances. Several of the letters are concerning Durrell, his career and health. There is an undated note on the back of a poem by Durrell entitled ‘Omega Grey’, the note mentions that it was an unpublished poem. Also included are three letters from playwright Eugene Ionesco (b 1909, d 1994), one letter from poet Octavio Paz (b 1914, d 1998) and several press cuttings relating to Paz.
