Chris Roberts, was a student at Pembroke College, Oxford, and applied for temporary employment at Kodak during his university long vacation of 1951. He was offered employment at Kodak within the Industrial Relations Division on 29 August 1952. His annual salary was increased to £635 from 3 May 1954 and to £1000 from 30 December 1957.
