One tracing and two blue-prints (three versions of the same map) covering an area from western Hupeh (湖北) to eastern Szechwan (四川). The map shows the line of the Yangtze Kiang and its principal tributaries, and the line of a proposed railway. On the tracing, place-names along the line of the railway are given in Wade-Giles romanisation. The second blue-print is identical, but the place-names and marginal name list have been re-drawn.The tracing bears the title tracing 'Rough tracing of Chinese railway survey from I-ch'ang (Yi-ch'ang Fu) to Kuei-chou Fu'. Both blue-prints bear the title '宜𧃰水陸路圖' (Map of communications between Ichang and Kweichow)
