- Description: This envelope contains three stationary envelopes of the following material: photographs, magazines’ and newspapers’ clippings and articles, and typewritten original documents, including one letter to the company's newspaper El Mundo by the school's Director. These envelopes inform us about this school funded in 1878 by the Salesians priests. These envelopes inform us about the main events in the history of the school named after the Pope Pío XI in 1930s. They also inform us of various subjects such as celebrations, presentations, and tragedies such as the 1951 fire that broke in the carpenters' workshop. This school formed the students to be artisans. Mistakenly, this envelope includes newspapers' clippings about the San Carlos School funded during the viceroyalty that, after the Independence, became the National Buenos Aires School (Colegio Nacional Buenos Aires). Extent of original: Envelope. Condition of original: Regular to bad condition.
