- Description: This is a handmade envelope with newspapers' and magazines' articles and clippings, engravings and photos. The envelope's title refers to various persons with the last name Ripamonte but it actually focuses on Carlos Ripamonte (1874-1968). He was an Argentine painter, disciple of Juan Bautista Curet, Miguel Carmine, Ernesto de Cárcova, and Arístides Sartorio in Rome. He specialised in interpreting the rural inhabitants of the countryside, in particular, the gauchos, His work is exhibited in national and provincial museums and it is part of private collections.
