- Description: This envelope shows the stockbreeding exhibition of the Sociedad Rural Argentina (or the Rural Society). The latter is an organisation that represented the agricultural sector. It was created in 1866 when a group of producers founded an association to further the development of agricultural production. This goal was embodied in the Rural Exhibition that opened for the first time in 1875. It soon became the most traditional agricultural exhibition that gained fame in Argentina as well as in the rest of the world. This particular envelope shows the Rural Exhibition of 1926. This is a handmade envelope only with photos. Extent of original: Handmade envelope . Condition of original: Regular to bad condition.
