- Description: This is a new envelope with photos and a sketch of a map on the town of Olivos and its seaside resort in the 1920s and 1930s. In 1770, Olivos was registered in the minutes of the Cabildo of Buenos Aires as the Site of the Olives. Almost a century later, in 1860, Hernán Wineberg donated part of its lands to the Argentine Central Railway and, in 1905, the region officially became an administrative district (or Partido). In the early 20th century, the port and its seaside resort developed and became a landmark for leisure. In 1939 Olivos officially became a city. Extent of original: Envelope. Condition of original: Bad condition.
