Two hand drawn coastal views of Aden and vicinity with titles added in black ink: ‘Land forming the West[er]n side of Bunder Fuggum’ and in pencil ‘West of Aden’; and ‘Gibbul Shumsan from the Vessel at Anchor in Aden eastern bay’.
The views were sketched from on board ship and show landmarks inscribed: ‘Jezerat el Juhab’, ‘Jezerat Aboo Shumma’ and ‘Seerah Island’.

Inscriptions:
On recto in the bottom right-hand corner in pen and red ink: ‘Original Drawing engraved in the Chart of the several Bays near Cape Aden by Capt. Haines, 1836’.
