- Includes a photocopy of the order of procession at the coronation of Edward VII, with David Scott listed as attending on Louisa, Duchess of Buccleuch (his aunt), the Mistress of the Robes to Queen Alexandra; a letter from Lord Allenby to Austen Chamberlain; a letter from Ernest Bevin to Scott, marking the latter’s retirement from the Foreign Office in 1947; a photo card incorporating seven photographs of Sir David and Lady Scott; a photocopy of a typescript entitled “Australian Memoirs of Sir David Scott” (his father, Lord Charles Scott, went to Australia as Commander-in-Chief, Australia Station when Scott was three years old); correspondence relating to a family history enquiry from France; engravings of kinsmen, James Scott, 1st Duke of Monmouth and John, 2nd Duke of Montagu; a postcard of Boughton House; and photocopies of obituaries.
