This series consists of a collection of study portraits of groups of people, families and couples. The portraits include: machinists, officers, teachers and students from the Olimpia Leal Teacher Training School for Girls, mayors and clerks from Comalapa, the Local Government Council of Antigua Guatemala, First Communion celebrations, students from The Royal School, a junior high school called Liceo Antigüeño, the Local Government’s Military Band. The families include: Urrutia De León, Cuéllar, Yas Noriega and Álvarez Castillo. The majority of portraits are of ladinos although there are some photographs of indigenous people from Comalapa and people from other villages.
