First draft typescript with various autograph revisions in pencil and pen ink, reflecting different stages of revision (the first stage of revisions is captured in Add MS 89050/1/79 which is a copy of this script, however this script has further layers of revisions dating from after the copy was made), 305pp. This early draft has a quote by Winstanley on the title page "Knowledge, why didst thou come, to wound and not to cure?", which did not remain in the published version.
NB. An autograph note describes a typescript of the second draft of the first three chapters, this typescript can be found at Add MS 89050/1/80.
