First page concerns motherless babies. Rest of book contains patient records, including age, village, duration of stay, admit- and discharge dates, and remarks. The Hospital was surprisingly accommodating, even letting us borrow the records for digitization. This document contains entries in tiny rows which span across two pages. We first digitized both pages together, maintaining the integrity of the rows in a single image for readability. The pages were then digitized individually both for detail and for future digital re-stitching. These images appear in this same sequence, meaning that the entire book is presented in double-page digitized format, before again being presented in single-page digitized format. [Thus, Book 1 consists of images EAP454_CHS_1 until EAP454_CHS_133; Book 2 consists of images EAP454_CHS_134 until EAP454_CHS_399]. This medical register likely contains sensitive information of a personal nature. Some disease names are listed in Lushai (i.e..|Vawmbal)
One bound book, measuring 170mm by 215mm.
Generally well preserved, save for minor insect damage and the bindings separating in places.
