REYNOLDS, Sir Joshua. Correspondence of Valentine Green with Reynolds concerning the commission to engrave Reynolds' painting of 'Mrs Siddons in the Character of the Tragic Muse'; comprising (1) Green's autograph letter in the third person to Reynolds written on the verso of a note dated 6th May from Mr. Sheridan addressed to Green, (2) autograph letter in the third person from Reynolds to Green in response to this letter, (3) the latter letter and 4 ensuing letters (2 from Green, 1 from Reynolds and 1 from Mrs Siddons) copied up and signed by Green, comprising the correspondence submitted to the Literary Gazette.
