The first of two volumes comprising the final full score (autograph, ink and ink over pencil). The second volume is MS Mus. 1745/2/13/8.

- At the foot of the title-page (in another hand, pencil): 'Die Auswahl und Zusammengestellung des Textes hat Herr / Fritz Cassirer besorgt'.
- 23 bifolia and a single folio (pp. 78-79), all 36-stave 452 x 325 mm.
- Marbled endpapers.
- An un-numbered title-page followed by pp. 11-102 and a final un-numbered blank page.

- The title-page is stiff-leaved to the first page of the score.
- German text, with the names of the instruments in English.

- The score is annotated by Delius on pp. 38, 39, 68.
- Bold XX in pencil serve to draw attention to retouchings in the scoring, on pp. 61, 62, 82, 84, 85. 86, 87, 88, 89, 99, 100. However, these retouchings do not appear in either printed score or parts, suggesting that they postdate publication (1907, Verlag Harmonie, Berlin).
- This manuscript in two volumes was used as the publisher's Stichvorlage. Numbers appearing at the foot of most pages throughout the manuscript (in pencil and underlined in blue crayon, e.g. '87' on p. 102), are the plate numbers.
