- Description: Sbornik (Compilation) of historical character, contains a fragment of Old Believer essay on the causes of refusal to accept Patriarch Nikon’s reforms by the monks of Solovetsky monastery, "The Tale of Mamay battle" (“Skazanie o Mamaevom Poboische”), and also an interesting chronicle type essay, beginning with Byzantine history, using the "Brief Chronicler" (“Letopisets vkratse”) of Nicephorus, Patriarch of Constantinople, and further, passing to the Russian history, brings it to 1682.. Extent and format of original material: One bound volume containing 251 folioss, 242 mm x 186 mm. Condition of book – satisfactory. Binding: boards covered with leather, two locks.
