- Description: The Life of Basil the New Grigorievo and vision - one of the earliest monuments of Byzantine literature , highlighting the problem of post-mortem fate of the human soul. In this collection of essays included an option that connects the first part of the text of the literary version of Dmitri of Rostov (late XVII - early. XVIII c.) And the second part - the composition of the Last Judgment - the text of 2nd Russian edition from the “Great Chetih Miney” of Metropolitan Macarius (mid XVI century. ). Colorful miniature complement the text and help to put in order the disclosure of the small and large eschatology.. Extent and format of original material: One bound volume containing 500 folios, 194mm x 164mm. Condition of book is unsatisfactory, it needs restoration. Bindning – wooden covers, covered with leather, divided from book block, clasp was lost. Folios divided from block.
