- Description: Collection contains escatological literary compositions - the Interpretation Andrew of Caesarea in the Apocalypse of John, the Word of the Pope Hippolytus "The end of the world and the Antichrist"; extracts from the biblical "Book of Isaiah" about the last days; extract from "the Book of Faith" about the Antichrist (was made and printed in Moscow in 1644). Book is illustrated with miniatures to the text in the style of Filaretovskiy-Chudovo edition. Extent and format of original material: One bound volume containing 270 folios, 350mm x 218mm. Unsatisfactory condition, requires restoration: the binding - boards covered with leather without embossing, in ruined condition, disconnected from the text block. Clasps lost. Pages cut off from the text block. Without filigrees. Decoration: 71 illustrations (color miniatures), headpieces, desings on the margins of a book in tempera; initials and ligature in vermilion paint.
