- Author: Vasiliy, Ural Old-believer. Scribe: Vasiliy, Ural Old-believer. Description: Letter from Kolyvan monastery was written as epistle. It's created in the 1920s. The author is a Basil (Vasiliy), the Old Believer who migrated to Western Siberia after the civil war. His epistle is addressed to the Urals relatives and former neighbors to convince of “the end of the world” (after the establishment of Soviet power). Basil say that “true Christians” have to escape into “desert” for salvation. On the front cover: “That is epistle of F.M.B.” Folios 11 (back side): remark “See” and references to "Kniga o vere" ('Book about Faith'). Inside the front cover of the binding there is an ink record about the content of the message and a pen record of math "7492 leta" (year of 7492). Extent and format of original material: One bound volume containing 15 folios, 110 mm x 178 mm. Condition of book – satisfactory. Binding: boards covered with paper. Paper stamp "Fabrik/Yates/№5" – folios 1–8.Physical characteristics of original: Condition of book – satisfactory. Binding: boards covered with paper. Paper stamp "Fabrik/Yates/№5" – folios 1–8.
