- Description: Paterik Egyptian (“Lavsaik”), paterik Siani (“Limonis”) are collections of biographies and spiritual deeds of monks and laymen. Sinai Paterik consists mostly of writing “Spiritual Meadow” (Lug Dukhovnyi) of John Moskh. Tales of Egyptian Paterik is connected with problems of ancient monks. This book, probably, was created on Russian North. It’s interesting, because it was in the library of Varsonofy Ivanovich Makarov, leader of the Pomorian community in Trans-Urals.. Extent and format of original material: One bound volume containing 320 folios, 155 mm x 205 mm. Condition of book – satisfactory. Binding: boards covered with leather, two buckles.
