- Scope & Content:
- The maps cover an area to the south of Jehol (熱河), south-west to Shih-hsia (石匣) and south east to Chuang-t'ou-ying-tzu (庄頭營子), showing hydrology, relief, and numbered settlements. Each map is accompanied by name lists providing a key to the numbered settlements with chinese characters and romanised equivalents. Romanisation is non-standard and unreliable. The sheets bear annotations in Arabic script.
