The document presents accounts such as the Return of the Establishment of the Liberated African Department in the Colony of Sierra Leone, accounts on the number of persons employed in subordinate situations demonstrating the increase and the decrease. Also information on the returns of Liberated Africans that were receiving allowance at the several villages in Sierra Leone and other administrative accounts relating directed to the Liberated African Department. The Return of the number of Liberated Africans under charge of the General Superintendent brings a large number of information on the population and the administration of the villages.
