- Description: Deaths, Freetown [1 May 1885-19 Feb 1886]. Extent of original material: 1 volume of 104 folios. Physical characteristics of original: Binding is broken; loose folios. The paper is very brittle with most of the edges breaking off. There are many broken pages. The paper is acidic and there is extensive iron gall from the ink which has eaten through the pages and obscures some of the verso pages.
