- Description: This is a list of 3773 Africans liberated from slave ships by the British Royal Navy between 1808 and 1812. Extent of original material: 1 volume of 553 folios. Physical characteristics of original: Unbound. The paper is brittle with most of the edges breaking off. The paper is very acidic and there is some mould and mildew damage. There is extensive iron gall from the ink, but there is no information on verso.
