- 1. Vivien Merchant. Sunday [9 September 1956], Merchant to Goldstein (autograph, 1 sheet), signed 'Vivien'. The date of letter can be inferred from reference to getting married 'next weekend' (Pinter and Merchant married on Friday 14 September). Merchant refers to Pinter by his stage name (David Baron): 'David is next door reviewing his "trousseau-trouble" - apparently there is some doubt as to whether he should wear his "blue-grey" and carry his "fawn" - or wear his "fawn" and carry his "blue-grey".' They will be touring Devon on their honeymoon, 'complete with "typewriter" - apparently he may need it!'

- 3. Antonia Fraser. 19 January 1977, 52 Campden Hill Square, London. Fraser to Goldstein. Autograph letter (1 sheet, with envelope). Thanking Goldstein for his gift of music by Purcell. 'It was a pleasure to have you come into my life.'
- 4. David Goldstein (brother), Assistant Keeper (Hebrew Manuscripts), British Museum. 7 December 1980, David [Goldstein] to Michael Goldstein. Enclosing a newspaper cutting (review) of his book Jewish Folklore and Legend, and copies of British Library News No. 59 (November 1980) and the Union of Liberal and Progressive Synagogues News (December 1980) which also refer to the book.
