Autograph letter (2 sheets), with envelope, enclosing cuttings from the Gloucester Times,8 February 1980 ('6 saved from icy waters after Hattie Rose sinks', and reports of the deaths of Abigail Brownell (91) and Alexander Johnson (91), residents of Rockport). The letter refers to the preparation of posters by Harwood's wife, photographer Judith Walker, for Bezoar. Also enclosed with the letter, 7 black and white photographs (each 90 x 90 mm) of a beached 'Nova Scotia dragger' (1971).

'jud called last sunday to say the posters were on their way, and they have indeed arrived. i put one up over the table and the more i look at it the better i like it. like the weiners [John Wieners] poster it puts the poem the person and the place in one bowl and makes a potent bezoar. i'd like the next 10 bezoars to be judith walker posters.'
