- (2). 22 January 1999. Autograph postcard. 'A.K.'s [August Kleinzahler] review of that Bunting bio is out in this week's "London Review of Books".'
- (3). [Boston, Mass.], 24 March 1999. Typed letter (1 sheet, typed on the verso of a MIT poetry flyer), enclosing three typed poems (4 sheets). 'Oh, John Ashbery came to town last week with his old secretary Eugene Richey. Eugene and I read together at MIT.'
- (4). [Boston, Mass.,], 19 April 1999. Typed letter (1 sheet, typed on the verso of a Corbett poetry reading flyer). 'Kosovo on everyone's mind here. Charlie Simic is in agony at Nato bombing of his country.'

- (6). Greensboro, 7 June 1999. Autograph plain card, and autograph postcard (Sigmar Polke), with envelope. 'I've never been a fan of Polke's paintings but loved the big drawing show at MOMA. I'll bet he never saw a Joe Brainard but some of his work has a similar goofy warm spirit.' Corbett and Joe Torra are starting a magazine.

I want you to be part of this.'
