- (1). Exeter, 21 January 2013 (postmark). Autograph card (Turner) with envelope. Comments on 'Sailing Westwards' (The Orchid Boat): 'There is room for L.H. on the boat with the sages.'
- (2). Exeter, 'Easter III' (postmark 22 April 2013). Greetings card (Beatrix Potter), with envelope. Includes remarks on Joan Bakewell's 80th birthday party.
- (3). Exeter, 30 April 2013 (postmark). Autograph postcard (antler baton).
- (4). Exeter, 24 June 2013 (postmark. Autograph postcard (Goslar).
- (5). Exeter, 'St Swithin's + one' (postmark 17 July 2013, envelope not retained). Autograph letter (1 sheet). 'Your letter with the wonderful news of the song-cycle has arrived' (refers to Landscape with Three People, a setting of Harwood's poetry by Elena Langer, performed Cratfield, 28 July 2013) - Guest unable to attend. Also, news that Enitharmon Press will publish Harwood's next collection (The Orchid Boat). Guest has been 'tussling all a.m. with a dizaine' of Maurice Scève (text included in letter - see item 22 below for completed translation).

'Great about "The Oak Coffer" [The Orchid Boat]. Ambit has just come out with a couple of mine, one outrageously but wonderfully illustrated'.
- (7). Exeter, 6 September 2013 (postmark). Typed letter, dated 'September already' (1 sheet), with envelope (annotated) enclosing an internal envelope marked 'Beware! Not to be opened until you have read the accompanying letter.' The internal envelope encloses a typed poem 'The Long Castle' with dedication 'for Lee, fellowmountaineer and maker of dreams' (2 sheets).

- (15). [Exeter], 17 February [2014]. Autograph greetings card (Merian), enclosing autograph poem 'Dartmoor' (1 sheet) as submitted to The North. Appalled to learn that Harwood has not already been invited to read for The Poetry Archive.

- (18). Exeter, 27 April 2014. Typed letter (1 sheet). Reporting on trip to Seville, Cordoba, Barcelona, Figueres. 'Read at the Black Box (now Blue) on Thursday. Packed, which was nice. I read lots of new stuff including a poem on Paul Nash' (accepted for PN Review 'to my astonishment').

- (22). [Exeter, August 2014]. Undated ('August already') autograph letter (1 sheet), enclosing two typed poems (2 sheets): 'Links from a Forgotten Chain' and a translation of Scève's dizaine no. CCXVI (see item 5 above).

Disappointed in two BBC programmes on 20th century poetry. In September, Guest will be reading his translations at Exeter University (Exeter Festival).
