- (1). Barnet, Herts., 5 March [1967]. Typed letter (1 sheet) enclosing Goliard Press card promoting Tom Clark, The Emperor of the Animals and Zoltan Farkas, The Baltimore Poems. With envelope. Letter refers to Stuart Montgomery and Fulcrum Press publishing matters, and incorporates poem 'A Going-Away Poem for Lee Harwood'.
- (2). Barnet, Herts., 2 April 1967. Typed letter (1 sheet). Having just returned from Paris. 'I don't really know what to do about so many things, about the press, about writing, about getting cash. Here's a poem called "shoes".' (Poem incorporated in the letter.)
- (3). Barnet, Herts., 22 July 1967. Typed ( 1 sheet), with envelope. Brief note, wanting to be put in touch with Lewis Warsh and Anne Waldeman 'who I hear are in town'.
- (4). Barnet, Herts., 26 July 1967. Typed letter (1 sheet). The Raworths are moving to Colchester. 'What's happening with your book? [The White Room]. Is Stuart [Montgomery] working one of his holding actions?' On the verso of the letter, three typed poems: 'North Africa Breakdown', 'Hot Day at the Races', and 'Orrery'
- (5). Barnet, Herts., 28 July 1967. Autograph letter (1 sheet). 'Sorry to hear - if there's anything you need or want, write or phone.'
- (6). Barnet, Herts., 29 July 1967 (postmark). Undated ('Saturday morning') typed letter, with envelope addressed to Harwood at St. Clement's Hospital, London. Refers to poems from Harwood to appear in The Ant's Forefoot. On the verso of the letter, a typed poem, 'The Blown Agent'.
- (7). Barnet, Herts., 2 August, 1967. Typed letter (1 sheet), with envelope addressed to Harwood at St. Clement's Hospital, London. 'Now, as to F. T. Prince. Yes, I like him; which in fact means I know of him, and have read the Berrigan review/quotes in Kulchur.' Raworth's next book will be The Big Green Day (Trigram Press) - title drawn from a poem by Berrigan.

- (9). Undated (?1967 ?1966) Goliard Press window-sticker ('Have Good Christmas').
- (10). Colchester, 2 February 1968. Typed letter (1 sheet), with envelope addressed to Harwood at Unicorn Bookshop, Brighton. 'Andrew Robinson told me the bookshop had been busted .. hope it doesn't cause any problems.' Letter incorporates two poems: 'Accidental poem in the formal manner' and 'Travelling'.
- (11). Colchester, 9 August 1968. Typed letter card. News of a Penguin bi-lingual anthology of Latin American Poetry - four poets. Is Harwood interested in translating Ernesto Cardenal? 'Not a problem if your spanish is minimal or even non-existent. What he would do is give you the English rough versions, you would re-make the poem, then work it over with him [...].'
- (12). Colchester, 14 September 1968. Autograph postcard, addressed to Harwood in Great Witcombe, Glos. Various bits of news, including: 'I did see the Cassidys a week or so back, who showed me the record cover [Harwood, Landscapes, Stream Records] and said they'd be out early October.'
- (13). Colchester, 5 March 1969 (postmark). Undated autograph note written on University of Essex compliment slip, with envelope. 'I've asked Cassidy to send you my record, and he'll also send me one of yours.'
- (14). Colchester, 1 August 1969. Typed letter (1 sheet), with envelope. Refers to reading at the ICA 'with Ted [Berrigan] and Lewis [Warsh]. 'I sent Stuart [Montgomery] the ms. of the book he's doing [...] I don't know what he'll make of it. I've called it Nicht Wahr, Rosie?
- (15). Colchester, 15 September 1969. Typed letter (1 sheet), with envelope. Refers to 'Penguin Modern Poets 19' (1971): Nikos Stangos of Penguin has proposed Harwood and Raworth, the third poet yet to be decided. 'My only interest is (apart from you) in [David] Gascoyne and F. T. Prince. Gascoyne will be in one of next year's. So I suggested Prince to him. And am sending him a copy of his book today.'
- (16). Colchester, 26 September 1969. Typed letter (1 sheet), with envelope. Stangos was 'very glad to have his attention drawn to F.T. ... and he was reading Doors of Stone with great pleasure. So that looks promising.'
- (17). Colchester, 11 January 1970. Autograph letter (3 sheets), with envelope. No word yet from Penguin. Letter refers to readings arranged (and not arranged) for April by Stuart Montgomery.
- (18). Colchester, 5 October 1970. Autograph letter (1 sheet), with envelope. Refers to up and coming readings.
- (19). Colchester, 8 June 1971. Typed letter (1 sheet), with envelope. 'America was fine. Yaddo is a good place to work, and I finished a medium length prose (I suppose that's basically what it is) book there.'
- (20). Colchester, 31 December 1971. Typed letter (1 sheet), with envelope. Comments on the Trigram Press Christmas party.
- (21). San Francisco, 1 June 1975. Autograph aerogramme. 'I'm particularly glad your Tzara translations are moving again; that's a book whose continual non-appearance has always been a symbol of English publishers' stupidity: to me. I'm pleased you liked 'Bolivia' - it is what it says, another ending to a long work called ACE which, in fact, was printed over a year ago in London, and languishes in the printer's warehouse still waiting for a £55 balance to be paid.'
- (22). Camp Meeker, California, 15 July 1975. Typed letter, enclosing postcard of Camp Meeker. With envelope. 'So now Canada for a while seems probable; as Val can work there. And other things may start catching up here. Conceptual art.'
- (23). Sutter, San Francisco, 15 April [1976]. Typed letter (1 sheet), with envelope. Pleased to hear that Harwood's Tzara book is finally published: 'I'll put a copy of The Mask in the mail.' Various items of news. 'I hear good things of Doug Oliver'.
- (24). Sutter, San Francisco, 20 April [1976]. Typed letter (1 sheet), enclosing small b/w photograph ('a view from the window on my right') and small 'Tat-Too-Zeez' card. With envelope. 'Just found your book on the step'. Raworth's readings schedule. 'Ed's supposed to be arranging a marathon benefit here to raise our fares back to England.'
