- Description: Punta Chica is a chic neighbourhood in Northern Gran Buenos Aires. It is now one of the favourite place for residential houses and closed neighbourds (barrios cerrados). As other neibourhoods in Argentina its development started with the arrival of the railway in the 19th century. The monastery is for cloister nuns and still exists and especialises in cooking gourmet sweets. Extent and format of original material: This envelope contains photos, a typrewritten document titled Monastery of the Benedictine Nuns from Santa Escolástica or Monasterio de Monjas Benedictinas de Santa Escolástica, plus a handwritten paper to the Director of the Haynes company's newspaper El Mundo.
