- Description: This envelope informs about the monuments, the municipality, the museum, sanitary systems, and the observatory known as the Leoncito. The personality of the province is the President Doming Faustino Sarmiento. He was a politician, journalist, writer, and one thoe most influential intelectual whose work is still discussed and argued. His house, the history of his humble origin and resilient mother are part of the history of Argentina. It is no surprise that this envelope mainly deals with him. Extent and format of original material: Ths envelope is the 10th envelope on San Juan. It contains photos of former president Domingo F. Sarmiento's house and museum, postcards, loose material, photos of the Museum of Fine Arts, bibliographic reference card, and newspapers' and magazines' clippings.
