- (1). Boston, Mass., 22 September 2011. Five colour photographs by Watkins, incorporating an autograph letter written on the versos of three of the photographs. 'After much (needed) prodding (lastly from Bill [Corbett]) here is the promised thankyou note for my poem!!' With envelope. Refers to Harwood, 'Ben's Photo', The Orchid Boat (2014), pp. 34-5 (first published London Review of Books, 5 April 2012).
- (2). Boston, 29 September 2011. Three black and white photographs by Watkins, one of which incorporates an autograph letter on the verso. With envelope.
- (3). Boston, 14 December 2012 (postmark). Undated typed letter (1 sheet), enclosing seven colour photographs of cartoon figures. 'I enclose some of granddaughter Lucy's art which continues to delight us and her.' With envelope.
- (4). Boston, 10 February 2013. Autograph postcard (not by Watkins) and another colour photograph of a drawing by granddaughter Lucy (with continuation of message on the verso). With envelope.
- (5). Boston, 13 June 2014. Typed letter (1 sheet), with envelope. 'Orchid [The Orchid Boat, with cover photograph by Watkins] was waiting in the mail [...] the book is beautiful inside and out. Please convey to the designer S. Thompson my appreciation of the careful and thoughtful work, especially the "A" capping the streetlight and the subtle 50% border on the cover. Totally approve.'
