(1). A group of letters from Paul Evans to Harwood originally retained with material relating to The Empty Hill:
- Liverpool, 31 December 1989. Autograph letter (1 sheet), in response to 'your idea of a Mountain Book'. The letter lists relevant poems by Evans from his published work. Attached are two typed poems by Evans ('To A Rowan Tree on Esgair Felen' and 'Cupidi was Right?') and, in Harwood's hand, a list of relevant poems by Harwood.
- Undated postcard with fading message (?51st birthday greetings). Image: 'Dockers alongside the Leeward Isles, a banana boat, c. 1960'.
- 9 August 1990. Autograph postcard, sent from Toulon, France. 'Good news: I'll be with you in the Lakes for 3 days. Bad news: I'll be car-less. We shall survive, none the less.'
- 25 August 1990. Autograph letter (1 sheet) incorporating photocopied image ('Drawing sent to Mary Butts by Cocteau'). Further news about the car: 'I managed to wrap it round a lamp-post a few days ago but stepped from the remains unscathed, bar a couple of bruises: I'll tell you all when we meet.'
- Liverpool, 16 September 1990. Autograph letter (1 sheet), with envelope, enclosing newspaper cutting of obituary for Paul Potts (1911-90).
- 19 October 1990. Autograph postcard (Sir George Cayley).
- Liverpool, 14 January, 1991. Autograph letter (1 sheet), with envelope, enclosing newspaper cutting about Harry Griffin ('the Guardian's Lakeland diarist for 40 years').

(2). 'Notice of Inquest Arrangements', dated 14 February 1991, County of Gwynedd. Harwood summoned to give evidence to the Inquest for Paul John David Evans, on 27 February 1991, 2.50 pm at Bangor Courtroom.
(3). Association of Little Presses Newsletter, Vol. 26 No. 5 (October/November 1992). Includes notice (p. 5) of The Empty Hill.
(4). Sub-Voicive programme of events September-December [1992], including memorial reading for Paul Evans (8 December 1992). Autograph note in Harwood's hand of participants.
