File contains 7 items:
- 1 letter (apparently incomplete) addressed to Nick Marston of Swift's agents A P Watt regarding plans for casting and rehearsing, and a finalised performance schedule for the play, alongwith arrangements and figures for royalty payment to Swift. The letter is apparently from Sharon Flindell, co-producer with dereck dereck Productions, althought only the first page of the letter is present. The letter also contains pencil annotations in Swift's hand.
- 2 pages of information regarding the play, presumably by dereck dereck Productions. Provides a precis of the plot, a description of the workshops and rehearsal periods that were planned for October 1989, and a summary of the history and success of dereck dereck Productions Ltd.
- 2 forms of an invitation (photocopied on A4) regarding 'A Presentation of Work in Progress: The Sweet Shop Owner', on Friday 28th October 1989.
- a published pamphlet for the production, giving biographical summaries of the production team.
- a promotional bookmark advertising the production performance times at Watermans Arts Centre and the Warehouse Theatre, Croydon from 6 - 17 June and 18 - 30 July respectively.
- a entry ticket (presumably Swift's) to the 21st July performance of the play at the Warehouse Theatre, Croydon.
- a flyer advertising the Four Brothers production The Glass Hill; or Pirates and Ironing Boards: An Exploration of Childhood Fantasy, with a handwritten note by Phelim McDermott on the reverse side, which reads 'Do hope you can come at some point, maybe I can let you know about S.S.O [Sweet Shop Owner]! Phelim.'
File retains original file cover sheet in Swift's hand.
