- an annotated copy of the 1984 Picador/Pan Books edition of Waterland, prepared to assist Swift in the delivery of readings. There are 2 slips of note paper between the front fly leaves. These are both headed 'WATERLAND: France (P. Pic. pbk) Passages to read', and list the chapter, page numbers and first lines of the passages from the text. Both pieces of paper appear to be photocopies. Annotations are present throughout the text.
