File contains the following:

• 1982: 1 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Tara Heinemann, with a letter from Jenny Wilford of Penguin Books dated 10 September 1982 referring to the ordering of prints from a shoot with Tata Heinemann. Retains original file cover sheet in Swift's hand, noting that this photograph is intended 'For Penguin/Allan Lane'.
• 1983: 1 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Jerry Bauer [?], used as the jacket photograph in the Heinemann/Picador editions of Waterland.
• 1983-84: 1 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Mark Gerson, with 3 letters addressed to Swift dated October 11 1983, November 20 1983, and June 30 1984. Retains Swift's original file cover sheet.
• 1984: 1 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Anita Schiffer-Fuchs, Cologne, Germany. Also included is a letter dated 2 March 1984 from Marijke Brouwer, Literature Officer at The British Council in Cologne, referring to the photograph as an enclosure to the letter, and making reference to a seminar in Walberberg attended by Swift and himself. Retains original file cover sheet.
• 1984: 1 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Claire McNamee, Ambient Photograph, Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire (as noted on the reverse of the image). Swift has noted the location of the shoot on the cover sheet as 'Lumb Bank, Yorkshire 1984'.
• 1985: 1 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Orsolya Drozdik. Photograph was taken for inclusion in an interview with Patrick McGrath in London for New York magazine BOMB. Swift ntoes in the cover sheet that this image was reprinted in Making an Elephant.
• 1985: 2 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Saophie Bassouls, Agence de Presse Photographique, Paris. The photograph is dated 14 February 1985 on the reverse. Also contains 2 letters from Bassouls to Swift dated March 8 and April 4 1985, concerning the enclosed images and the conditions on their re-use imposed by the agency.
• 1991: 1 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Mark Douet. Image intended for use as jacket photograph for Picador publications of Ever After and Last Orders. Swift has made a note on the cover sheet of the location of the shoot as 'At home'.
• 2003: 1 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Eamonn McCabe. Image intended for use in The Guardian newspaper in 2003. Swift notes in the cover sheet that the image was 'taken in County Arms pub, Wandsworth'.
• 2006: 1 black and white photograph of Swift taken by Ekko von Schwichow. Image taken for use by Picador and Alfred A Knopf publishers (USA) in their editions of Tomorrow, Making an Elephant and Wish You Were Here. Also included is a postcard from von Schwichow referring to the photograph as an enclosure.
• 2011: 1 colour photograph of Swift taken by Janns vander Neijndea. Swift notes on the cover sheet that this is image was taken for the Dutch press in relation to Wish You Were Here.
