Together with the published score (ff. 7-8), Forsyth Brothers Ltd., Manchester, 1996), dedicated to the recorder player John Turner, and a typed letter (f. 9) from Turner referring to the work.

- 4. ff. 16-40. 'Fanfare for a Lifeboat', Op. 180. For brass band. Autograph score, blue ink (1 bifolium, 280 x 310 mm), signed and dated 12 May 1994. Composed for the naming of the lifeboat 'Freddie Cooper' by the Duke of Kent, at Aldeburgh, Suffolk, 31 May 1994. Bandmaster: Laurie Simpson (Royal British Legion Band, Leiston). - 5. ff. 42-46. 'Fanfare for TCML' [Trinity College of Music London], Op. 186. For brass (2 trumpets, F horn, trombone, tuba). Autograph score, black ink (ff. 42-43), dated 19 October 1997. Together with sketch material, pencil and black ink (ff. 44-46), one folio of which, dated one day later (20 October), revises concluding bars 12-22. Dedicated to Gavin Henderson.
