- Daniel Rose, author. Letters exchanged between Swift and Rose regarding Swift's encouragement of Rose's writing, and publication of his first novel Vault by Salt Publishing. Dated from c 1990 to 2011. 2 early letters from Rose are undated.
- Concerning Salman Rushdie and 'The Rushdie Affair'. Copies of letters by Swift sent to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and John Bowis, MP, regarding government actions, or lack of actions, over the Islamic fatwa issued by Ayatollah Khomeini against Rushdie in view of the depiction of the Prophet Muhammad in The Satanic Verses. There are also letters by Swift sent press for publication demonstrating Swift's support for Rushdie and urging the UK press to do the same appropriately, and press cuttings of these letters. Contents dated 1989 to 1992. There are also photographs of Salman and his wife and family enclosed, including one showing Swift with the family.

- Joseph Spence, Master of Dulwich College. Letter inviting Swif to speak at the Founders' Day dinner, with Swift's response declining the invitation. Dated February 2011.
- Paul Schlicke, University of Aberdeen. Letter dated 9 August 2006 inviting Swift to speak as part of an event held by the new 'Centre of the Novel'. Swift's response is not included, but he has noted on the letter 'Card 12 Aug 2006 - to decline'.
- Mary Stacey (mainly through Louise Lamont of A P Watt). Correspondence dated March 2009 regarding Telegraph Hill Festival, which Swift attended to discuss Waterland on 23 March 2009.
- Paul Sidey, editor at Allen Lane and subsequently Hutchinson. Letter from Swift dated 20 January 2012 to Sidey offering apologies for being unable to attend the farewell event held on 26 January 2012 to mark Sidey's move away from Hutchinson. Original invitation included.
- Geoffrey Sewell. Exchange of letters concerning the death of Sewell's mother. Dated 4 to 11 June 2011.
- Barnaby Spurrier, film maker, Tomboy Films Ltd. Exchange of letters regarding recent meeting and Swift's suggestion of The Light of Day as a potential screen adaptation by Spurrier. Dated 18 to 22 June 2011.
- Karin Scherer, Hatchards Booksellers - email exchange between Swift and Scherer, through Jacqueline Graham, Swift's publicist, in the first instance. Dated 23 May 2011.
- Linda Shaughnessy, foreign rights agent with A P Watt literary agents. Email correspondence regarding overseas publication of Tomorrow, Waterland, Making an Elephant and Wish You Were Here. Dated December 2009 to February 2011.
- Peter Straus, editor at Picador. 1 card, and a copy of a card from Straus to Swift regarding the successful publication of The Light of Day in 2002, and a letter from Swift dated 9 March 2011 referring to enclosed item - probably a copy of Wish You Were Here, sent to Straus 'for old time's sake'. Also contains 3 colour photographs of Straus with Swift and Candice taken in Paris.

- Patrick Wildgust, curator of Shandy Hall (Laurence Sterne's home), Yorkshire. Correspondence regarding Swift's graphic contributions to exhibitions held at the house, and proofs of Making an Elephant and another new novel. Included are copies of Swift's contributions. Dated 2003 to 2011.
