Correspondence arranged alphabetically as follows:
- British Council - correspondence with the Director of the British Council David T Ricks regarding promotional matters and the inclusion of Waterland in educational syllabuses. Dated 1984 to 1996.
- Beatrice Berna, Paris Descartes University - correspondence with Swift dated 2009 to 2012, chiefly around Wish You Were Here.
- Vanessa Guignery, University of Lyon, formerly of Sorbonne. Correspondence dated between 2007 and 2011 regarding 3 interviews given to Guignery by Swift in 1991, 2007 and 2009 at the Sorbonne, and the resultant single interview 'Conversation with Graham Swift' published 2007. These interview pieces are included in the file.
- Francois Gallix, Sorbonne, Paris. Correspondence between Swift and Gallix, Swift's responses attached to Gallix's original correspondence written on postcards. Subject matters include the publication of Tomorrow, Making an Elephant and Wish You Were Here in France, and Gallix's use of Making an Elephant and Tomorrow in his teaching. Dated between 2007 and 2011.
- Alan Jolis, American writer living in France. Letter from Jolis with 2 attached photograghs of Jolis with Swift and with his family. Letter, dated 10 April 1996, chiefly concerns the delayed or unrealised publication of a piece Jolis had written about Swift for Vogue magazine.
- Christine Jordis, editor at Gallimard publishers until July 2012. Correspondence chiefly concerns Swift's career, with which Jordis expressed the wish of keeping up to date.
- Nathalie Massoulier, French academic and lecturer - correspondence with Swift regarding questions posed by Massoulier to Swift as part of her PhD research, and his responses to them, and letters of thanks from Swift for Christmas gifts. Dated between 2006 and 2012.
- Michel Morel - 2 letters from Swift to Morel, the first sdated 22 March 2011 sent to incorrect address, the second dated 11 May 2011 resent to correct address. The letters refer to an enclosed copy of an uncorrected proof of Wish You Were Here. Morel's response to the letters and enclosure on a postcard is enclosed, dated 14 May 2011.
- Anne Pons - series of handwritten letters to Swift from Pons in French dated between 1998 and 2004. Also a printed email exchange between Swift and Pons dated January 2012.
- Marc Poree, French academic, Universite Sorbonne Nouvelle - correspondence between Swift and Poree regarding Wish You Were Here, of which Swift sends Poree an uncorrected proof, and a printed web page from the Universite Sorbonne Nouvelle website, giving details of the Department of Langues, Textes, Arts and Cultures du Monde Anglophone within the University. Dated between March and May 2011.

- Letter from Jack Lang to Swift and Candice dated 27 January 1999, in thanks for attending the presentation ceremony of the award of the Medal of the Commander of Arts and Letters to Salman Rushdie. Also included is the couple's invitiation to the event on 21 January 1999, extended by the Ambassador of France, London.
- Letter from Olivier Poivre d'Arvor to Swift and Candice, inviting them to attend the presentation ceremony of the award of the Medal of the Commander of Arts and Letters to Kazuo Ishiguro on 20 January 1998. Award given by the Ambassador of France, London.
