Green cloth-bound album, 258x195mm, containing uncaptioned prints in window mounts. The album is untitled, the front cover having the manufacturer's gold-stamped sun motif and the word: 'Photographs'. A typed list inside provides headings for the various sets of prints. The album relates to the Prince of Wales' visit to Delhi in February 1922 and includes photographs from the following events: Arrival of the Prince of Wales at the Viceregal Lodge, escorted by Lord Reading; Inspecting Guard of Honour; Meeting Indian princes; View of the Royal Pavilion; Procession en route to the Durbar in the Red Fort; Group portrait with HRH. and staff including his ADC, Lord Louis Mountbatten; Group portrait with HRH, the Viceroy and their respective members of staff; Guests at the Garden Party in the Diwan-i-Khas following the Durbar; The Rutlam Polo Tournament including presentations of trophies.
