Black full-leather album, 233x300mm, containing hand painted prints mounted with captions. Pages are interleaved with tissue and the title is stamped in gold on the front cover with a royal coat of arms. The first page in the album contains the timetable of the Reading's trip from 'Delhi Main to Bombay (Victoria Terminus)' giving dates, stations, distance covered from Delhi, arrival and departure times and meal times. Departing at 18 30 on Tuesday 30th March the train arrived at Bombay at 0800 on Thursday 1st April. On the reverse of this page is a caption which reads: 'Photographs in this album have been painted by Rembrandt Studios, Artists and Photographers, Hornby Road, Fort, Bombay'. Captions are as follows: Print 1 The Administrative Offices BB & CI Railway, Bombay. Print 2 The Gateway of India. Print 3 The Royal Bombay Yacht Club. Print 4 Bombay from the Reclamation Wall. Print 5 A scene in Mahim Woods. Print 6 The Lakshmi Vilas Palace, Baroda. Print 7 The Darah Pass. Print 8 The Royal Train. Print 9 Bharatpur. Print 10 A screen in the Taj Mahal.
