Green half leather bound album measuring 450 x 380 mm, with title as above on leather label laid down on front cover. Prints are pasted down on page with handwritten captions, interspersed with newspaper cuttings relating to the Viceroy's tour.
Prints 1–17 are architectural views at Simla, Agra and Fatehpur Sikri. The main events covered in the album are the Viceroy's visit to Gwalior on 30 October–3 November 1895 (prints 18–33), to Bhopal on 4–5 November (prints 34–39), to Khuldabad and the Ellora Caves on 6–8 November (prints 40–47), to Poona (Pune) on 9–12 November (prints 48–49) and to Hyderabad on 13–? November (prints 50–51).
