- Scope & Content:
- The two wounded soldiers in wheelchairs in the hospital grounds. The full caption reads: 'Two heroes, Bal Bahadur and Pim Bahadur, cousins, belonging to the 1/9 Gurkha Regiment, who were both wounded by the same shell, on November 13th. This shell killed no less than 6 and wounded 10 others. The Gurkha on the right has lost his right leg, while the Gurkha on the right has lost his left arm, and his right thigh is also shattered. Her Majesty, Queen Mary, visited them on January 9th and spoke personally to them. They are very happy, in spite of their afflictions, and cause no end of amusement in the Dome Hospital'.
