Collection of 85 nitrate negatives, originally housed in a negative wallet labelled in Lady Scott's hand, 'Ceylon Polonnarua also Marmagao ship &c.' The majority of the views relate to the ruined cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, a number of which are reproduced in G. E. Mitton, 'The lost cities of Ceylon' (John Murray, London, 1917). There are also general views in Sri Lanka, at Marmagao near Goa and some shipboard scenes.
