Gladstone Collection: 'India – Scenery. 1874'. Photographer(s): Bourne, Samuel
- Scope & Content:
-
Maroon half-leather album, measuring 345 x 495 mm, containing mounted prints with handwritten captions. The title is stamped in gold on the front cover. This is an identical album design to Photo 28/1, although the actual prints are not duplicated, and was probably sold by Bourne and Shepherd. Apart from the last three prints, which represent a bridge and the interiors of churches, all the photographs in the album are topographical views mostly depicting mountain scenery.
