Two red drop-boxes, measuring 324 x 432 x 82 mm, containing loose prints each mounted on board and encapsulated in paper envelopes. The boxes are labelled 'Part One' and 'Part Two'. The photographs depict the topography and architecture of various locations throughout India and Pakistan as well as views in the Middle East and Europe. Handwritten captions, contemporary and modern, are either on the reverse of the print or the bottom of the mount. There is a contemporary handlist addressed to Lieutenant-General James Crofton which provides titles for ten photographs in the collection.
